Will I get paid for my vacation week if I leave the company before the planned vacation?

I was supposed to take paid vacation during next month, but I may leave this company at the end of this month. Will I get paid for this?


|||Most companies pay out employees for accrued vacation hours but not sick time. If you leave before that time, vacation pay is usually issued on your final check, but some companies have been known to issue a seperate check.





If you wish to resign and then use your vaction time as pay for the final week of work, you are okay. Either way your company will more than likely pay you. Check your employee handbook (if you have one) for more specifics on their policy as it relates to vaction time.
