Do salary employees get paid while on vacation since vacation hours are earned?

Lets say for example you earned five days of vacation which totals 800.00

Do you get paid the 800.00 plus the days your not at work because of vacation if your on salary?|||No. You merely get paid the same whether you're on vacation or not. For example, if you're given 5 weeks of vacation, you'd still get the same check ever other week, regardless of whether or not you were on vacation for those two weeks or were in the office working for those two weeks. Instead of being earned like some companies make vacation time, salaried employees are simply given a set amount of vacation time.

Good luck! :0)|||No..you get to take the time off and continue to receive your normal salary - if you get paid $800 a week, that's what you get, not $800 salary plus pay for vacation.|||If you are on salary you get paid the same amount per day for normal work days or allotted vacation days. You do not get paid extra for vacation days, except in some cases if you have unused vacation at the end of the year. To avoid the latter, my employer makes sure that we take all of our vacation.
