How many paid vacation days does a teacher get?

There is a program when a teacher gets paid 80% of their wages each year for five years, and they get the fifth year off. l suppose this counts as a paid vacation, but they do not get paid over summer holidays unless they also work at a summer school.|||Teachers are in a union and the terms of each district's contracts will vary. In my district they get 4 personal days a year and a sick day each working month. The only real vacation is the summer.|||0

We are paid for the number of days we work. That pay is spread over 12 months, but we are NOT paid for the days we are off for holidays, spring break, summer break, etc.|||Teachers do not get paid vacation (including the summer). A teacher has the choice of spreading their 10 months pay over the 12 month year, but this is their own money and reduces their paycheck.|||same as any government jobs, but teachers also get the summer off .. nice :)
