Can my boss "not count" my paid vacation hours toward my 40 hours to get out of paying me time and a half?

i took a vacation day monday, worked tuesday thru friday, which gave me 40 hours. saturday became mandatory, does my boss have to pay me time and a half or can he get away with paying me 48 hours of straight time since i took a vacation day and was actually only at work 40 hours?|||In California you can work 48 hours over 6 days and NOT get any overtime...|||It depends on what the company policy and your state laws are.|||I Think the main thing is you company policy. you will have to ask them.....
