Does every job have a paid vacation?

well my boss doesn't wanna pay me. I went on vacation to France for 15 days. My friends say that I need to have a paid vacation because all jobs do. So I was just wondering. I'm probably not gonna take legal action. I was just wondering.|||There are legally mandated employee benefits and there are those given by the employer. Normally, those given by the employer are better than the legally mandated benefits.

1. Check if the 15 days paid leave is

a mandatory benefit in your area

of work.

2. Check if your company's employee

benefit policy includes a 15 days

paid leave.|||No

In order to make sure you get a paid vacation you have to check your benefits package. Many lower funded jobs do not have paid vacations.

Paid vacations usually come with full time or salaried jobs but not with many temporary jobs or jobs that pay for less than 40 hours per week.|||the simple answer is no...you should definitely have had this information before you left on vacation and certainly now that you're back, you should ask your boss for the company's policy and procedure handbook (if available) and/or talk to your HR dept. about the company's benefits program....the more you know...and who knows, perhaps you do have some legal recourse, assuming you provided advance notice of your vacation and returned to work as expected...|||Lol, no, not every job has a paid vacation system in place. Always ask about that before you get hired.|||amazing how people think, companies are not obligated to give any benefits, and yes it is legal what ever that means.|||It depends on what country you live in. If you are in the US, you do NOT have a legal right to a paid vacation.
