Do you get paid unused earned vacation time when you leave a job?

If I leave my job, and I accrued 46.32 hours of vacation time that has not been used, do I get paid out for that on my last paycheck?|||Depends where you are - California = yes


Everywhere else it depends on company policy. Some will pay all or a portion. It might also depend if you quit, were laid off or were fired.
